A Wood's lamp examination is a procedure that uses transillumination (light) to detect bacterial or fungal skin infections. It also can detect skin pigment disorders such as vitiligo and other skin irregularities.

This procedure can also be used to determine if you have a corneal abrasion (scratch) on the surface of your eye. This test is also known as the black light test or the ultraviolet light test.

1. Wood lamp observation should be carried out in a dark room.

2. When cleaning skin lesions before use, do not use any type of skin cleaning products and cosmetics such as facial cleanser, shower gel, body lotion, etc., to prevent the ingredients contained in them from affecting the observation effect;

3. When using this product, the photos obtained by using conventional photographic equipment and photographic methods may produce color deviation or lack of details, which cannot be used as the inspection results and diagnosis basis, so please refer to the direct observation results on site;
